It's a Shiba Inu, a small Japanese hunting dog that looks like a miniature Akita. I own one, they are the cats of the dog world, independent, sneaky little escape artists lol. And they bark pathetically, sometimes they actually do sound like cats.
Ah I understand. Yeah, I had a siamese kitten. Kept me up for most nights, could open doors, I would be her scratching post at night, and was an escape artist. Surely a Shiba can't be that bad, unless they are as crazy as my siamese kitten was. Am I right or is it worse?
Zorro's not tall enough to open doors, but he was actually pretty easy to potty train so he hardly kept us up at night, plus we walked him, he's escaped briefly about....10-15 times in the 6 years we've had him, sometimes we didnt even know he was gone until somebody brought him back to us. he is pretty crazy, but if you know the breed, lol we certainly didnt, then they are a little easier, on the Easy-Medium-Hard scale, Shiba's are just barely over medium in my opinion after owning 5 dogs total.
Now see, if that were my cat, that would be a trap. It looks like a nice fluffy tummy and the second you touch it it collapses into a ball of teeth and claws. Somehow I don't think that'd happen, here...
